25 years ago, a unique gearing concept, Roller Gears, was used to launch  a cycloidal high reduction gearing system. It was introduced by Kiss Corporation and another major corporation (as a private brand). However, third world competition got in the way.
The original differential units worked well but they covered only a small segment of the market. Recently, the company set up a modest R&D program to explore a broad range of applications. The results of our investigations were outstanding.
Today, the company manufactuers a standard range of Gearing Solutions® roller gear-based NEMA Planetary Gearheads, and special products for other industries who want to capitalize on the cost effective use of this technology. These include speed increases for electric vehicles and wind turbines.
All feature newly patented designs, use state of the art manufacturing
techniques, and, above all, incorporate our new Drive Train Automation Program. They include a library of developed designs, an inventory of Gearing Solutions® NEMA Planetary Gearheads, and the ability to quickly engineer planetary systems to fill your needs, and they offer a unique opportunity for your new designs.
