INDUSTRIAL MIXER

A typical high reduction industrial mixer manufacturer used a 50:1 cone worm gear to swing the mixer blade, a standard and effective way to power mixers.  This manufacturer received a request for a 600:1 drive.  Options included double worms (poor efficiencies), a complete redesign (very expensive), or a Gearing Solutions® 12:1 gearhead.  The latter was best.  Just remove the motor, add the gearhead (4 bolts), and reinstall the assembly.  It is simple and takes just minutes.
